I'm going to Scotland and England in July and my friend and I have a list of places we want to go. We need to eliminate some because there's no way we can do it all in 10 days. Help!
Here's the list, please tell me what your favorites are(and why).

-Leicester Square
-Covent Garden
-Westminster Abbey
-Changing of the Guard(how long does it take?)
-London Eye
-Harrods

-Shakespeare's Globe Theatre
-River Thames Tour
-Double Decker Bus Tour
-Tower of London
-Portobello Road Market
-British Museum
-Kings Cross Station(for Platform 9 3/4 and taking it to
Edinburgh)
-See a Musical or Play(if so, what?)
----Bath
----Stonehenge
Scotland:
-Edinburgh Castle
-Royal Mile
-Palace of Holyroodhouse
-Real Mary King's Close
-The Highlands(we really want to go here, but where is the best place there to go?)
Thanks!

I've been to London 6 times, and managed to do each of the things you mentioned (except a play, for which I was too broke) in the first 3-day trip I took there. In Edinburgh I also managed to see the Castle and walk along the Royal Mile, and go to a few museums in one day. We took a day trip up to Bridge of Allan, where we just explored the beautiful, quaint little town, and from there went to Sterling. There was beautiful scenery with a view of the William Wallace Monument, a castle, and a wonderfully friendly little town where we stopped at a pub for dinner. Point it, you can do a lot in a little bit of time.
A double decker bus tour is worth it the first time you go to London, as you can cross off a lot of sights and get your bearings of the main points in the city. Your pass is good for a full 24 hours, too, saving you money on additional tube passes.

London Eye why cuz its rele cool to see the whole city, almost all the streets of London, take the double decker bus tour cuz London is rele nice and it takes you to places like Prince Charles Castle, the rest of the places you listed sound alright but i think the best thing is stay most of your time in London and explore around that only if you like the city
